ADAPTIT UNDERTAKES THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE NEW NETWORK SYNCHRONIZATION FOR CYTA
CYTA who is the leading provider of integrated digital communications services in Cyprus will deploy a new Synchronization Network.
The new Network Synchronization is provided by OSCILLOQUARTZ – An ADVA Company and offered by GCC, a local representative of ADAPTIT. ADVA’s solutions enable mobile operators to meet the stringent requirements of 5G synchronization, while supporting all existing mobile technologies.
The new Synchronization Network will replace the existing network which currently provides frequency synchronization signals (2MHz and 2Mbps). Furthermore, the new network will also support the synchronization requirements for CYTA’s planned 5G Network. The proposed Synchronization is foreseen to be developed in two phases in a period of 3 years. The Synchronization Network will be operated, controlled and monitored from a single centralized Network Management System.
