ADAPTIT: GOLD SPONSOR AT THE 14TH MAINTENANCE FORUM

ADAPTIT Group participated as Gold Sponsor in the 14th Maintenance Forum organized by Boussias Communications on October 8th, which this year, due to the special conditions of the pandemic, has been conducted online.

The goal of the 14th Maintenance Forum was to highlight the importance of maintenance in the efficient and safe operation of the equipment of industrial facilities, but also the overall organization of the maintenance of the buildings.

ADAPTIT Group was represented by Mr. Spyros Agathos, B/OSS Solutions Manager, with a presentation / speech on ‘’Data driven Intelligence in Asset & Services Management’’, mostly focusing on IBM Maximo Solution and Mr. Charalambos Gkevrekis, ICT & Presales Director, with a presentation / speech under the title “Augmented Reality for Frontline Workforce: The new era in remote support and maintenance services’’.

Mr. Agathos explained how Enterprises can improve operational efficiency & cost optimization through remote monitoring of devices and machines, predictive maintenance of equipment and collection of sensor data for real-time production analytics, ensuring safety and extending in parallel the current work environment and tasks with information which help employees do their job better, more precisely and faster, as well as helping engineers and planners make better decisions.

Mr. Gevrekis described how AR & IOT integration can bring innovation to a business model, boost productivity as well as increase customer satisfaction. Mr. Gevrekis’s speech was honored by the presence of Mr. Theofanis Giamalis, Senior Manager, Fixed & Mobile Network Access Field Operations & Infrastructure Dpt., OTE Group, who described the benefits of implementing the AR solution for Frontline Workforce in everyday business of field engineers.
