SUCCESSFUL DELIVERY OF SMILENET PROJECT
ADAPTIT has successfully delivered to the organisation “The Smile of the Child” the project “National Network of Digital Autonomous Communication – Mobile Operational Unit Equipment – System for Locating People in Danger – Smile Net”, assigned through a tendering process.
The project includes the creation of a National Digital Autonomous Two-way Communication Network for Emergency, Search and Rescue Operations, the equipping of a mobile operational communications and disaster management unit, and the development of an integrated system for providing assistance to people in danger through tracking services.
More specifically, ADAPTIT delivered a communications system, which has increased voice and data communication capabilities, so that it does not depend exclusively on the existing infrastructure of Telecommunication Providers and can operate autonomously even in cases of natural or other disasters.
In addition, the equipment of the new mobile communications and disaster management unit carries modern communication, surveillance and data transfer systems and comes to reinforce the existing mobile operational centers and facilitate the significant work of the specialized staff of the organization, in case of disappearance.
Finally, ADAPTIT delivered a system for early detection of people with established health problems, the elderly, the disabled, etc., who are at greater risk of extinction.
This project includes innovative prevention and protection services, not only for Greek but also for international standards, and contributes significantly to the upgrading of the services of the Organization “The Smile of the Child” as well as to the modernization of its telecommunication means.
