ADAPTIT UNDERTAKES THE PROJECT “NETWORK ABNORMALITIES DETECTION AND DENIAL OF SERVICE ATTACKS (DDOS) CONFRONTATION SYSTEM” OF GRNET
ADAPTIT was awarded by GRNET – Greek Research & Technology Network the project “Network Abnormalities Detection and Denial of Service Attacks (DDos) Confrontation System”.
GRNET (https://grnet.gr) provides networking and cloud computing services to academic and research institutions, to educational bodies at all levels, and to agencies of the public and private sector. It is responsible for promoting and disseminating network and computing technologies and applications, as well as for promoting and implementing Greece’s Digital Transformation goals, and holds a key role as the coordinator of all e-infrastructures in Education and Research in Greece. With twenty-plus years of experience in the fields of advanced network, cloud computing and IT infrastructures, GRNET serves hundreds of thousands of users on a daily basis in the strategic fields of Public Administration, Education, Research, Health and Culture.
The specialized solutions offered by ADAPTIT in collaboration with the world leader for DDoS protection and mitigation, Arbor Networks, the security division of NETSCOUT, will ensure:
-The minimum service downtime by proactively detecting network or service availability threats, by quickly diagnosing and by preventing malfunctions, and malicious threats such as DDoS cyberattacks.
-The optimal use of network resources and network capacity and the smart network development planning.
-Full control over data, in terms of storage, user access and cost-effective selection of network nodes for traffic routing.
